As the section manager for Maintenance Media at the Steelworks, you will lead a team consisting of five media mechanics and one technician. You are responsible for the work environment, operational safety, budget, investments, and management of the facilities within Media Steelworks. The role requires a coaching and present leadership style where you work together with your employees to develop both work methods and facilities.

You will be part of the management team for Maintenance Steelworks and a key person in driving safety and operational reliability forward.

The working hours are daytime.

Your main responsibilities

• Create short- and long-term maintenance and investment plans.
• Follow up and ensure the functionality and operational reliability of the facilities.
• Develop methods and work processes for corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Drive improvement work related to operational stability and facility performance.
• Act as a role model and driving force in safety work.
• Participate actively in the development of the maintenance organization at the Steelworks.

About you

• You are an engaged, secure, and clear leader. You enjoy developing both people and technology and have the ability to create engagement and participation within the team.
• You have a good technical understanding and a genuine interest in processes and facilities, as well as a strong safety awareness.
• You are flexible and easily adapt when conditions, priorities, or tasks change.
• You have a natural commitment and are motivated by contributing to results and development in the organization.
• You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have basic knowledge of English.
• Experience as a manager or leader, preferably within industry, production, or maintenance, is an advantage.
